Book Reports
Students will be responsible for turning in two book
reports by December 9th. Book reports promote literacy and strengthen skills in
reading comprehension, reading fluency, and writing. All books selected
for book reports must be approved by the teacher. Students will be given time
to read their book report books in class during silent reading. Book reports
will be completed at home, although students may occasionally be given time to
work on book reports in class.
The due dates for all book reports are listed below. Students will follow the provided templates
to assist in writing chapter summaries as well as the final book report. The
expectations for grading all book reports are listed below.
Book Report Expectations:
